The crew makes a difference and plays an important, if not the most important, role in the success of gullet cruise holidays. We pay the same attention to the quality of the boat and the crew.
In general, the crew of this kind of gullet consists of a captain, chef, master sailor and deckhand. They are licensed seamen and are in charge of safe navigation and sailing, preparation and operation of water toys and transportation of the passengers ashore to the beach during the day or for a night out. They are also responsible for keeping the outside of our gullet looking immaculate, and in the engine room, they keep engines, generators and pumps running perfectly. They will also customize every single day of the cruise to your personal preferences.
Mr. Mehmet
The Captain
Captain Mehmet is the Captain and co-owner of Bibi Ayşegül and has been working on gullets for 40 years and as captain for 30 years. He is an experienced and passionate seafarer native to Bodrum and has a great knowledge of Turkey and Greece.
He knows where the best anchorages, ports, beaches, snorkelling and fishing grounds are located, as well as walks and other onshore activities. Together with his crew members, he provides an ambitious and very personalized yet discreet service. He is always around when needed but never intrudes in your privacy unless you wish him to take a more active part. With his natural Turkish trait of warm hospitality, he is the perfect and most welcoming host.

Turkish food is freshly prepared and beautifully presented by the chef of the Bibi Ayşegül, who will make every effort to accommodate any dietary restrictions and to fulfil special menu requests according to personal preferences.
Turkish recipes are a fascinating mixture of Asian and Mediterranean cooking with Persian influences.
